Springtime Monochrome

In anticipation of a chilly holiday weekend that usually signals the start of summer I've had to experiment with layers and color to feel summery while keeping warm. I love how blue makes white look crisp and clean and is far less dramatic than black. In my favorite summer dress and shoes with a sweater, denim jacket and socks to keep the chill off I'm ready for just about anything this weekend.
Opening Ceremony dress (bought at TJMaxx)
Free People sweater (bought at TJMaxx)
No. 6 clogs
vintage purse

  7. Um you found the dress and sweater at TJ Maxx??? Christ, I need to start going there. I always just get super overwhelmed and everything looks crappy and then I give up!

  8. I do too. Its always such a mess that I have to be in the right mindset before I set foot in there. When I found that Opening Ceremony dress that I had bookmarked and lusted after until it was sold out I was so surprised by my good luck. And the sweater was probably the best impulse purchase I've ever made.

Just be ready to dig through crap if you go!
