Cat Calls

Check out my awesome new phone case from Iconemesis! I'm pretty choosy about accepting anything to feature here because I'd never want to be dishonest for freebies. Iconemesis is one company that I feel really good about working with. The British company features illustrations by independent illustrators on their cases like Leah Goren, Karin Soderquist, and Onneke van Waardenburg. Some of the artists I've heard of and it was a fun introduction to some I hadn't.
I chose the Kitty Pattern case by Gemma Correll who's work was introduced to me through Iconemesis. After a thorough website and blog stalking, its love. She makes witty drawings of pugs and thoughtful cartoons that are exactly my taste. Her drawing of the partying cats makes me laugh a little everytime I look at it because nothing makes me laugh harder than animals doing people things.
In terms of the case itself, its without a doubt the nicest I own. It doesn't seem likely that it will fall apart or fade anytime soon and being made of hard plastic as opposed to squishy material does its job of protecting my phone.
