Tuesday is Friday

The Holiday's are upon us and I could not be more excited. More than usual perhaps, and to celebrate I took a lot days off in the coming weeks including today. Yesterday I finished out my two day work week with drinks and an evening out with my friend Jade.
Yesterday was also the first day that I got to wear my pretty new skirt from ASOS. After ages of searching for the perfect green skirt I found one that even has pretty gold buttons too.I'm not sure ASOS knows much about size descriptions though. When it arrived it was massive and already sold out in all the smaller sizes. Thank goodness for tailors, but as a warning to everyone: their size charts are totally wacky.
Cooperative bumblebee sweater, ASOS skirt, steve madden booties, vintage coach bag, Nixon watch, Jcrew cardigan

Psst...also I'm stuck in a skirt+sweater+booties rut. It could be worse, but I'm not thrilled. I'm determined to use my days off to force myself out of it with copious dress-up time!

  2. Such a cute skirt! There are definitely worse things than being stuck in a skirt+sweater+boots rut. Try being in a jeans+zip-up hoodie+boots rut :/

  4. I love the sweater also pretty jealous of your short working week! I am in a skirt/shirt/cardigan/boots rut but I think it'll be OK until I have exhausted all the available combinations, there are a lot!

  8. nice skirt! and hey, it's a good rut to be stuck in. better than a tracksuit!
I usually don't have a problem with asos sizes but the last pair of shoes I ordered were listed as an australian size 8 (on the australian site) but when they turned up they were actually a UK 8, which is an australian 10! it was like they just read the number off the bottom of the shoe and listed it as the australian size (which are the same as US sizes). No wonder they were the only pair left, they were huge!

  15. I love the skirt! I have been searching for one with that shape for ages, I have a hard time finding ones small enough for my waist but large enough for my butt :P I hope you have a good few days off!

  18. Days off are priceless!
My quilt is from Urban Outfitters, I bought it a long time ago but I believe that it might still be available. On the reverse side its yellow with pink/blue/purple/green flowers. Its so pretty.

  19. Tailor! I literally had this one hacked apart because the sizes were SO off and I couldn't exchange. One of these days, I'll take a tailoring class and will be able to fix things myself.

  20. This outfit is too cute. It's hard not to get into a rut when the weather starts getting colder, but you're right - it could be WAY worse. At least you're in an adorable rut.
