Fresh veggies and cream

Recipes are fun to try, but I'm a big fan of winging it in the kitchen especially when it comes to dinnertime. Tonight I sauteed swiss chard with fresh plum tomatoes in garlic and oil with crème fraîche added at the end. My mini-experiment in the kitchen that was a success, but sometimes it can be a disaster that I'm stuck eating. What are some of your favorite ingredients for inventing new and delicious combos?

  6. i love trying out different pasta sauce combos, if you blend it up it's hard to go wrong! At the moment im into experiementing with baking. Though I'm not Vegan myself (yet) i love trying to turn anything vegan. I made an awesome peacan pie last year. I had to cook it for AGES but it was so chewing an caramelly. Yum.

  7. I had a long internal debate over whether to use the cream or the vodka sauce in my fridge. I could drink Vodka sauce! :)

  9. sounds yummy. I tend to stick to the recipes  when I'm cooking but sometimes I alter the amounts of spices, etc.
