Hanukkah Blues
Just playing with layers for work. Blouses under dresses is becoming my go to layering option because it isn't quite as heavy as a sweater but still keeps me from being chilly in the office. Its also a good way to cover up a bit if a dress, like this one, is sort of low-cut. I was going to make this a Hanukkah reference with all my blue and white, but I honestly can't even remember when it starts. Thats kind of pathetic of me. Ally remembered though and sent me the most hilarious pair of purple zebra stripe socks that are totally rad!
(Please forgive my wet hair, I would never do crunchy-gel curls, that's like so 2004.)
Madewell blouse, H&M dress, Target tights, Lucky boots, vintage belt, Uniqlo coat, scarf from Ireland

You're too cute for words. *silence*
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the socks and card. Knowing how sophisticated you are about fashion, it was hard to find a gift that would please you. I went with humor.
Oh I really like the blouse under the dress! It almost looks like it could be one piece and meant to be. And your coat looks so nice and warm! I just thrifted an awesome wool coat over the weekend I'm quite pleased about.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a fox. ;)
ReplyDeleteI need to work on my lairing. Luckily, the weather here's been fantastic. I really hope I haven't jinked it.
'so 2004'. lol.
Just FYI my bangs remind me of your bangs. That was like my first thought when I was reading your blog the other day.
ReplyDeleteThis look is absolutely beautiful. I never would have though to wear a plaid button up under a dress like this. It looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMiss, you look so great bundled up in that coat! Layering blouses under other things with sleeves never works for me, because somehow the blouse always seems to have a million buttons that stick out stupidly!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hanukah, I guess. : 0
Crunchy gel curls are more 2007 for this gurl. oh my gosh.
ReplyDeleteI adore this! The dress, boots and coat are fab. <3 Happy wednesday!
I love the blouse under the dress! I agree, it makes it warmer, while also making it work appropriate. That dress is great by the way!
ReplyDeleteAhh oh my gosh I'm just seeing your new straight across bangs! They look so great on you :) Wanna know a secret? Your hair is literally my hairspiration most days, it is so perfectly curly and tousled!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! Very lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThat gingham blouse is so cute layered underneath that dress. Everything looks so nice together!
