Le petit chaperon rouge

Yesterday while getting ready to take pictures I found this tiny red velvet cap from when I was very small, and surprisingly it fit! Not very well though, I had to give it up because it kept falling off while I was riding my bike to the train. Now I'm searching for the perfect winter beret for when the weather turns cold again. Speaking of which, I try not to be mundane and talk about the weather but we are having a pretty serious Indian summer here, complete with sunshine and 70 degree weather. I didn't wear tights yesterday, and it is NOVEMBER. I can't ever remember that happening. My outfit yesterday was an experiment in light layers, with enough to keep me warm once the sun went down but comfortable throughout the day and it was a complete success. This outfit is going to be on heavy rotation/combinations for awhile.
H&M dress and blouse, vintage hat and belt, Bloch ballet flats, Halogen purse, nOir rings

  8. Yes, the weather is amazing.  Today, I walked from Court in Foley Square to Penn Station and started to sweat despite wearing nothing but a suit.  You look lovely in this outfit.  Your style is very appealing.
