A soundtrack for the changing leaves

Early Sunday morning in State College

(The last song is my attempt at convincing Rich that we should be Mary Tyler Moore and Buddy Holly for Halloween. Cute right?!?)

  1. Rich would make an awesome Buddy Holly, as well as you being Mary Tyler Moore! I cast my vote!

  4. oh wow I havent heard the cardigans in forever.  flashback! PS its so funny that you mentioned wanting Halloween to just be the last Saturday in October.  We have a senator in CT who is trying to get that passed.  I'm all for it.  Its much easier to recover from a hangover on Sunday rather than a  Tuesday....which is what I'll be doing on Tuesday.

  5. OMG seriously, I have been BEGGING Kyle to go as Buddy Holly & Mary Tyler Moore with me for years and he won't do it. GRRR!!!!! Great mix though! I will be jamming to this while doing homework for a bit :)

  6. Yes! Precisely! I mean Halloween is so detached from "All Hallow's Eve" and "All Saints Day" that it wouldn't even matter. In fact, it would detach it from its religious grounding and make it into a more "American fall fun" kind of thing. And by American Fall Fun I mean drinking pumpkin beer and cider+whiskey. ;)

  7. Yay! I'm so glad you like it. Yea...I'm still working on him. If I can't get him to do it this year lets get them to do it next year and say its for a blog thing and then we can be like "BLOG TWINZ!"
