These pictures were actually taken once the rain had started to fall and the wet ground felt so cool under my feet. It was that kind of rain you read about in epic novels like The Lord of the Rings, in Fangorn Forest. Ok, so maybe I pretended my backyard was Fangorn while I sat in the door on my porch and devoured eggs and read The Two Towers. What, cause you've never done that? Back to the point, it was a perfect spring rain to enjoy barefoot.

all in all, you look adorable! xoxooo
ReplyDeleteNice polish on the toes!
ReplyDeleteOh, your little sweater is cute! I actually really love this outfit (even without shoes). I guess I think of all those items as really you. But it's funny how things that look great in pictures can be driving you nuts in real life... and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteReading on the porch in the rain while eating sounds completely dreamy! I'm looking forward to visiting my parents, who have a porch now, and doing just that!
Your backyard could be Fangorn forest, it's so nice and green! I imagine being in places from books a lot too. :)
ReplyDeleteYour top is so nice, it looks lovely with the dainty necklaces. It's a pity the skirt is uncomfortable, but it still looks nice. :)
how beautiful your portico *.*! The look is soft, your cute green skirt.
ReplyDeleteSooonnn! :D

Your garden looks like a lovely place to be in the summer! Most gardens in Australia completely dry out and go brown in summer.
ReplyDeleteFangorn Forest FTW. You are the cutest. I want to sit on your porch and read LotR with you!! ha Your skirt looks super pretty but I totally understand how annoying skirts like that can be. Not worth it sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love this look and I love this skirt with no shoes. Super lovely for the summer!
ReplyDeleteI hate being the bearer of bad news... really, I do. The Book Revue won't close but it's almost certain to move out of town. They had a long-term lease with an understanding landlord who agreed to accept only 75% of the rent required under the lease, but the property was just sold and the new owner (whom I know: he's a greedy bum) is insisting they now pay full rent. The bookstore can't afford to do that and is being pushed out. That would be very sad. In addition to being a good bookstore, it's a social meeting-place and cultural center.
ReplyDeleteyour style just gets better and better x

You have the most beautiful eyes!! Love your layered necklaces! And that black top. I want more light sleeveless things in my wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteI love your slightly sheer black top. It'd be so nice to have one like that for the summer. It looks really nice with that green skirt! Too bad it didn't cooperate!
ReplyDeleteYou always look so lovely. I'm sick of using lovely because I feel like that's what everyone uses... but honestly!
ReplyDeleteI have a skirt just like that (from Old Navy), and it always drives me bonkers. Hope you're well! :)
