Unwelcome summer

Summer has overstayed its welcome. Hot days topping off over 95 degrees Farenheit, sticky air pressing all around, blindingly bright sunlight. It all needs to just taper off because even though the days are getting shorter there's been very little cooling down and drying off. Plus the mosquitos! On top of everything else, those little blood suckers just won't die. Everyday I discover about 20 more bites, and usually after snapping my outfit photo.
I can feel myself sliding back into my July slump of just throwing on anything clean with a belt and calling it a day. This oppressive weather is killing my outfit creativity, I just want to drop everything I have off at Goodwill. Having this new grown-up career-type job is making me rethink my style which can't be good for my wallet. This leads me to my next point: I'm planning a garage sale for the weekend of September 18th, if anyone will be on Long Island let me know, you should stop by! I just want to clear everything out and have a clean slate for my new "grown up" life with less overall clutter, tee shirts, and Forever 21 dresses.
Maybe I need to move somewhere in a more northern climate, or set up camp in my air conditioned office and not leave until this heat subsides. Think about it, I can order take out, sleep under my desk, and on the plus side I won't have to worry about being late for work. Showers won't be such a huge deal since I won't be sweating! I might be on to something here...
F21 dress, Steve Madden flats, vintage belt, thrifted scarf from Bellefonte, PA (ahh! I'm going to PA this weekend, I can't wait!) This scarf was also genius for biking and wiping sweat off...yep you needed to know about that!
Tee shirt from Boscov's, UO skirt, thrifted belt, BP woven wedges, Juicy bracelet, MJ hair clip

  2. i made the switch last year working for a skateboard footwear company to the Fam Jam business... I have to dress more professional myself. I couldn't and still won't do business casual. Instead, I wear trouser denim, shirt, chucnky vintage necklaces and cardi's... it's my "togo" outfit <3

  17. The first look is pure genius! Lets swap the weather? All we've been getting since the beginning of August was rain, wind and a bit of sunshine if very lucky.
