Stats, clockwise from left. The bag: A tooled leather purse I bought in Nogales, Mexico in 2005. My mom, aunt, and I walked across the border from Mexico for lunch and I picked up this lovely bag. My favorite features are adjustable strap, zipper pocket in the front for papers and my planner, and its durability. I love that this bag isn't soft or stretchy, with no room for a mess it keeps my life simple and organized.
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens: I'm making it a point to catch up on classic books I've never read.
Ray Ban Wayfarers: OK, so everyone and their mom has these but they are sturdy, classic and tortoiseshell goes with everything I own. I might also be going blind from wearing sunglasses from the $2 bin at H&M, my worried mother picked these specs up for me as a birthday present.
ProAir Inhaler: I'm still sick, 3 weeks later. This inhaler in my purse, and my life, is taking up too much space.
Pen/Pencil/Sharpie: I'm constantly jotting things down and doodling.
Penn State lanyard and keys: Digging for my keys drives me insane and the lanyard keeps that from being a problem. Oh, and, WE ARE-PENN STATE! (I have way too much alum spirit)
Isaac Mizrahi for Target wallet: This wallet changed my financial life. I once kept cash, change, checks, and receipts wadded into a ball inside a change purse, it all changed for me when I found this baby.
Burts Bees Pomegranate lip balm: A perfect formula with a hint of color and the most delicious scent.
Planner: I would be lost without this tiny pile of paper.
Essie Mod Squad: I normally don't even wear nail polish but I was in the backyard painting my nails staving off the being home sick boredom and it must have snuck in there!
Cell: Kyocera Blitz. Its nice to be disconnected from technology, and since my phone hardly ever gets service, I try to look at it as a good thing.
Show me what you got in that bag!
