Twenty-three

I feel like just yesterday I was 18...
Or 20...
Even 21 doesn't seem so far gone...

Today is my 23rd birthday! I celebrated last night with my family, today will be low key (I'm a bit under the weather). Saturday will be my Sweet 23, because 23 is just as unexciting as 16, and there needs to be a gathering of friends, if not for my birthday than because we like to be together. Also, check out that cake! That was all that I wanted and its yellow. Yellow marzipan. It is the most deliciously beautifully perfect cake ever made.
