if love actually and pump up the volume had drunken sex on a boat

On Wednesday night my boyfriend and I went to see Pirate Radio (I heard about it through Jayne). We religiously watch Little Britain, the original Office, and Love Actually is one of my favorite movies (which many of Pirate Radio's cast starred in) so we had some pretty high expectations.
This movie was brilliant. The thin sub plots of a boy coming of age and finding his father, an aging DJ realizing he might not be as cool as he thinks, and a sweet dork looking for his true love; come together and reveal that the most important thing is the music.
The sets and costumes were literally enough to make me cry. I wish that I could have been a DJ on a boat in England, in the mid-sixties. It makes the radio show I did at school look pitifully tame.

Oh and P.S., here's what I wore;
Red old navy coat that needs to be ironed, UO tee shirt from 5 or 6 years ago, Express sweater, F21 skirt, Dolce Vita boots
